I’m Sarah an Illustrator and Screen Printer based in Walthamstow, London.

My prints aim to capture the energy of places and the people in them, celebrating community and connection. I like looking at life in layers and I think that’s why I love screen printing. For me, it’s about finding a way to distill the essence of something into a handful of colours, breaking it down then building it again, piece by piece.

I create all my images by hand. From sketching the initial idea to drawing or painting the positives, I love the tactile nature of the process… along with the mess, the mistakes and the happy accidents.
